FAQs
Do you take insurance?
Yes. Several of us are "in-network" with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oscar, Oxford, AvMed, United Healthcare and others. We also participate with Lyra Health, and SpringHealth. To find out more information about your out-of-network coverage, please complete our secure contact form.
What if I don't want to use my insurance, do not have out-of-network benefits, or the deductible is too high?
Some people prefer to pay privately for a number of reasons, such as they want to ensure complete confidentiality, or they have non-clinical (no DSM 5 Diagnosis) reasons for seeking therapy. Others do not have out-of-network benefits, or have very high deductibles. We will do our best to accomodate your financial needs, if you qualify for the sliding scale.
What are acceptable forms of payment?
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, all major credit cards, and HSA/FSA spending accounts. A 24 hour notice of cancellation is required. You will be charged for the full session in event you do not cancel within 24 hours.
